2012 Congressional Art Competition-DY Freshman Second Place Winner
May 9, 2012 by dysuptGreat news from the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School Visual Arts Department! Freshman, XinLin Huang placed second in the painting category of the 2012 Congressional Art Competition. Her artwork will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year.
This event showcases the talent of our high school students across the Tenth Congressional District of Massachusetts. Runners-up pieces will be displayed in the offices of Representative William Keating in D.C., Quincy, Plymouth, and Hyannis. Congratulations XinLin!
See all the best that D-Y Visual Arts has to offer at the Annual DYRHS Art Exhibit, artist reception and awards ceremony, on Wednesday, May 16 from 5:30-6:30 in the high school library.
The Exhibit can also be viewed during normal school hours May 13-16.
